Our Helm CONNECT developers are stoked about this update!

We’re excited to share the latest release of Helm CONNECT with you. The Helm team has been working hard since the last release to build features you’ve been asking for and we can’t wait for you to try them out!

Here’s what to expect in the 1.3 release

Enhanced Configurable Spaces

With Helm CONNECT, you can now customize your spaces onboard. You’re able to change the default names from ‘Engine Log’, ‘Mate’s Desk’, and ‘Wheelhouse’, as well as add or delete spaces, to better match the needs of your business.

Enhanced visibility in Tasks

Helm CONNECT now gives you greater visibility into all existing tasks within the system. If your crew completes a checklist onboard, and an item fails, they’ll now be able to see if a task was already created for this issue. This will prevent any duplicates from being created.

Helm CONNECT Maintenance

We’ve enhanced Maintenance tasks to make them more flexible for users and easier to report on. Now, you’ll be able to:

  • View components onboard
  • View asset details onboard

Helm CONNECT Personnel

We’ve added much more detail to our Personnel module to help you better support your crew. With Personnel, you can now

  • Conduct a global search for people
  • Add new personnel through Management without providing an email address
