Where do I stay and how much is a hotel room?

Don’t miss a second of the fun! We recommend staying at our event hotel, The Inn at Laurel Point. Our Helm Conference preferred room rate is $229/night (CAD). To reserve your room, click here.

Be sure to book early, as our preferred room rate ends August 12, 2022 and this will be a very busy tourist season.

Is the hotel rate in US currency or Canadian currency?

The hotel preferred room rate is $229/night, Canadian dollars (CAD). Note that American dollars go further in Canada (here’s an exchange rate calculator)!

Can I extend my hotel stay in Victoria?

The sooner you book, the better! Our host hotel, The Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria, is happy to help extend your stay. Please contact the hotel direct and mention Helm Conference; our Conference preferred room rate may be extended for 3 days before and after the Conference, subject to availability. Would you recommend staying the weekend also and seeing some more of Vancouver Island?

Yes! Extend your stay and explore some of the spectacular sights and adventures Victoria has to offer! With so much to see and do, you can lose yourself for an hour or for a few days, Victoria and is an amazing place to visit. How do I get to Victoria?

Victoria is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, and is roughly equidistant to Seattle and Vancouver, BC. You can fly into Victoria International Airport (YYJ) in Sidney, BC (20 miles north of Victoria) or from Seattle or Vancouver via seaplane into Victoria’s Inner Harbour (YWH), close to our office and the host hotel. There are many ways to get the Island, by land, sea, and air! Check out the options here.

How are you managing the COVID situation?

COVID travel restrictions are loosening in Canada, and travel to Canada is quite easy for fully vaccinated travelers. Please check out the Canadian government website for a travel wizard that helps provide answers.

For the event itself, we’ll be following the guidance of our local health authorities, and conditions may be subject to change. Right now, there aren’t any restrictions on gathering!

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?

Come one, come all! Space is limited and we recommend buying your tickets early. Please reach out to us if you are sending your team, we’ll be happy to discuss group pricing.

When does the Early Bird ticket pricing end?

For maximum savings, register for Early Bird tickets before July 31, 2022.

What are the courses being offered on Training Day?

The Helm team is building on the 2022 Training Day curriculum and will publish the exciting prospectus in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
